Challenge — Austria ranked among the Top 3 watch-making nations in the world in the 19th century, but 100 years later the watch industry was history: an Austrian luxury watch brand no longer existed.

Objective — To relaunch the most important luxury watch manufacturer of the Habsburg Monarchy.

Accomplishment — Carl Suchy & Söhne re-founded and released a limited watch collection called Waltz N°1, which builds on the brand’s unique history and is manufactured according to the highest quality and design criteria.

Impact — Within just three years of design development, production of watches in the luxury category, with collectors in twelve countries and very positive media coverage in global media such as Monocle, The New York Times and aBlogtoWatch, as well as nominations for the “Oscars of Watch-Making,” the GPHG Awards.
