With the aim of encouraging understanding of contemporary art, as well as promoting art collecting in Mexico, the Patron of Contemporary Art (PAC) presents the photograph auction Al Otro Lado de la Puerta at the Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art. One week before the auction, some of the work is exhibited at Art&Idea. The photographs to be auctioned include a selection of photographs from specific collections entitled Precedents: Selection of Private Collections, important because of their rarity on the market. That selection includes work of recognized Mexican photographers and seeks to show the development and evolution of Mexican photography.
